Oliver! Food Model on Children in Need

Released: 15 November 2008

Food platter models made for the new production of Oliver! had their premiere at the BBC's Children in Need broadcast last night when the cast of the West End show performed 'Food Glorious Food' for the television audience.

The food models included a life size Goose, bangers and mash and a spotted dick and custard. Some dishes included a steam effect for that 'hot out of the oven look'. The jelly pudding was sprung for a 'wobble' effect.

The models will soon be live in action on stage every night when the West End theatre opens.
